“Garden” is an installation built entirely of hollowed eggs shells, covering the walls in the form of sweeping florals. Concerned with issues of mortality and fragility, the eggs represent the cycle of life and death. Never composed the same way twice, the composition varies from installation to installation in response to its environment. In this way I as the artist am operating as “gardener,” giving life to the flowers it creates, tending to them and influencing the way they move and grow.
